Psa 1:1  Happy are those           Blessed is the person who is saved by grace through

                                                          Jesus Christ, therefor

who reject the advice of evil people,                   who despise evil advice

who do not follow the example of sinners         who does not imitate sin

or join those who have no use for God.              who prefer Godly people as friends.

Psa 1:2  Instead, they find joy in obeying      Because due to thankfulness

the Law of the LORD,                                       they obey the Law of God,

and they study it day and night.                     and always study it.

Psa 1:3  They are like trees                                  The saved person is like a fruit tree

that grow beside a stream,                                 growing next to water,

that bear fruit at the right time,                       that bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit, and

and whose leaves do not dry up.           who projects the pleasant odor  of the Good News.

They succeed in everything they do.                This person is spiritually blessed.

Psa 1:4  But evil people                                        But the unbelievers

 are not like this at all;                                          are different;

they are like straw that the wind blows away. They are without any compass.

Psa 1:5  Sinners                                                   Unbelievers

will be condemned by God                                 will be rejected by God,

and kept apart from God's own people.   and will not feel comfortable in a place worship.

Psa 1:6  The righteous are guided        God saved people by grace through Jesus Christ

and protected by the LORD,                       alone,

but the evil are on the way to their doom.  but unbelievers will disappear.
