PSALM 8: FROM A NEW TESTAMENT’S PERSPECTIVE.

Psa 8:1  O LORD,our Lord,                 Lord Jesus, our Lord Jesus

your greatness is seen in all the world! you have opened our eyes so that we

                                                                  now understand that God

Your praise reaches up to the heavens;  created the world and the heaven.

 

Psa 8:2  it is sung by children and babies. God’s creation is celebrated

You are safe and secure from all your enemies; by every believer,

you stop anyone who opposes you.    and no one can stop our witnessing.

 

Psa 8:3  When I look at the sky,       I was amazed when I see  

 which you have made,                     your heavenly creation.

at the moon and the stars,                You made the moon and the stars

which you set in their places---          which you put it in its own places.

 

Psa 8:4  what are human beings,    If I think about our humans;

 that you think of them; mere mortals,    you crated them mere mortals;

 that you care for them?                       we are small, but Christ made us new.      

 

Psa 8:5  Yet you made them inferior only to yourself; In union with Christ we are

 you crowned them with glory and honor.     crowned as kings to live a godly live.     

 

Psa 8:6  You appointed them rulers over everything you made; We must rule in such a

 you placed them over all creation:         way that your creation will be looked after;

 

Psa 8:7  sheep and cattle, and the wild animals too; every tame and wild animal;  

 

Psa 8:8  the birds and the fish and the creatures in the seas. and every bird and fish.

 

Psa 8:9  O LORD, our Lord, your greatness Lord Jesus, our Lord Jesus

is seen in all the world!                                  you have opened our eyes so that we

                                          now understand that God created the world and the heaven.
