Psa 2:1  Why do the nations plan rebellion? Lord why the rebellion against you?

Why do people make their useless plots?   We are afraid of war and we   experience                                                                                                                                      

                                                                              anxiety of all the rumors of war.

 

Psa 2:2  Their kings revolt,                              The world leaders do not listen to you

their rulers plot together against the LORD     they reject your law

and against the king he chose.                            therefore they plot against you.

 

 

 

 

Psa 2:3  "Let us free ourselves from their rule,"  They say: “Now we can do what we like,

they say; "let us throw off their control."               because we are the boss.”

 

Psa 2:4  From his throne in heaven the Lord      Lord,  you are amazed

 laughs and mocks their feeble plans.                    because of their stupidity.

 

Psa 2:5  Then he warns them in anger            Lord, through Jesus Christ, you invites

and terrifies them with his fury.       them to repent, and to obey your commandments.

 

 

Psa 2:6  "On Zion, my sacred hill,"              You have crowned Jesus, at Golgotha, as King.

he says, "I have installed my king."                 He reigns all over the world.   

 

Psa 2:7  "I will announce," says the king, "   At the Jordan river when Jesus

                                                                               was baptized, you said:

what the LORD has declared.                          “ This is my son, the Holy Spirit   

He said to me: 'You are my son;                      lives in him. He is king obey him.”

today I have become your father.

 

 

Psa 2:8  Ask, and I will give you all the nations;  Jesus has come to his property,

the whole earth will be yours.                                   He will reign in all justice and there

                                                                                          will be gladness an joy.     

 

Psa 2:9  You will break them with an iron rod;    But only at the Second Coming of Jesus

 you will shatter them in pieces like a clay pot.' "  there will be complete peace.

 

Psa 2:10  Now listen to this warning,                       In the meantime; rulers of the world

you kings; learn this lesson, you rulers of the world: repent and accept the kingdom of  

                                                                                                      God.

 

Psa 2:11  Serve the LORD with fear; tremble             Rulers reed the signs: Jesus Christ

                                                                                              is already king, obey him.                    

 

Psa 2:12  and bow down to him;                           Listen to the new king,                                                                                           

or else his anger will be quickly aroused,                 Jesus Christ, and you

 and you will suddenly die.                                          will be blessed.

 Happy are all who go to him for protection.
