I long to be in the LORD's Temple.                           I desire to keep in touch with you.

With my whole being I sing for joy to the living God.         But you made it possible.

Psa 84:3  Even the sparrows have built a nest, When you have died the curtain at the Temple was

and the swallows have their own home;               torn in two, from the top to the bottom.

they keep their young near your altars,      That act of you made the way that God is now

LORD Almighty, my king and my God.                        with us.

Psa 84:4  How happy are those who live in your Temple, We are grateful because we as believers

always singing praise to you.                                                 are in union with Jesus Christ.

Psa 84:5  How happy are those whose strength comes from you, Now we know according your word

who are eager to make the pilgrimage to Mount Zion.               that the Holy Spirit is within us.

Psa 84:6  As they pass through the dry valley of Baca,       The presence of the Holy Spirit within us

it becomes a place of springs; the autumn rain fills it with pools. means that God is within us.

Psa 84:7  They grow stronger as they go;  Although God is within us it does not mean that he is part

they will see the God of gods on Zion.  of us. He is in us, but not part of us. He stays the same being.

Psa 84:8  Hear my prayer, LORD God Almighty.  Now that we know that he is in us

Listen, O God of Jacob!  we are not far from Jesus, because he is present in us

                                                       through the Holy Spirit.

Psa 84:9  Bless our king,  You are power full oh God and you reign all

O God, the king you have chosen.   over the world. You are our King.

Psa 84:10  One day spent in your Temple is better  You made us your servants and you

than a thousand anywhere else;  entitled us as your prophets, priests and kings on

I would rather stand at the gate of the house of my God             earth.

than live in the homes of the wicked.  What a privilege to be in union with Christ Jesus.

Psa 84:11  The LORD is our protector and glorious king, You lead us through your Holy Spirit

blessing us with kindness and honor.                                   in your wisdom.

He does not refuse any good thing to those who do what is right. We praise your name.
