ONE MINUTE WITH JESUS CHRIST.

Jesus Christ has said:

Mat 5:7 "Happy are those who are merciful to others; God will be merciful to them!

 

To be merciful to people who has harmed us by words and deeds are a tall order. We must confess that it is not so easy to be merciful. The reason is that harmful actions and words are a transgression that cut deep in us. It causes deep pain in our emotions. We feel rejected and worthless when we are handled in a brutal way.

But Jesus Christ our savior said that we must look at him. In the eyes of the world he was rejected, slain and nailed at the cross without any earthly reason. He has set the example. But he has done much more. He is and will be merciful on us because we are sinner. We sin every moment, but in his love he forgives us.

Because he is merciful there is no way out.  We must pray to Jesus and tell him that it hard to be merciful, but ask him to change our emotions.
