Jesus Christ has said:

5:9 "Happy are those who work for
peace; God will call them his children!
We cannot think of working towards peace if the
opposite does not exist. We cannot think about peace if there is no conflict or
war. So the opposite is a fact therefore we must work for peace. We are obliged
to do so, because Jesus Christ gave us the instruction to work for peace.
We as believers cannot escape conflict or war. We
must handle it. But how is the right way in handling conflict or war? The Bible
says in Php 2:5 “The attitude you
should have is the one that Christ Jesus had:”
Where
ever you are, in your house, work, play, social way or on holiday, you must work
for peace. It is tremendous difficult to be at peace under difficult
circumstances, but remember what the Bible says in Php 4:13: “I have the
strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me.”
To
work for peace, you as believer will be called a child of God. That is your
wonderful reward.
