PSALM 33: FROM A NEW TESTAMENT’S PERSPECTIVE.

Psa 33:1  All you that are righteous, Sing with exuberant joy,

shout for joy for what the LORD has done; because God saved us through Jesus Christ,

praise him, all you that obey him.  and he made us righteous in his eyes.

Psa 33:2  Give thanks to the LORD with harps, Yes, we want to give thanks to him;

 sing to him with stringed instruments.  our savior: with musical instruments.

Psa 33:3  Sing a new song to him, Write a new song as praise, towards

Psa 33:4  The words of the LORD are true, The reason: the promises of God will

his purposes last eternally. but on your Covenant actions that are solid founded on your words.         

Psa 33:12  Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD; We as believers in Christ are happy,

happy are the people he has chosen for his own! because God has elected us through grace alone.           

Psa 33:13  The LORD looks down from  Christ looks upon us with love and

heaven and sees all of us humans.  grace and seeks our salvation.     

Psa 33:14  From where he rules, He is omnipotent, He lives in us through the Holy Spirit,

he looks down on all who live on earth.  but he is not part of us and as such not one with us.        

Psa 33:15  He forms all their thoughts and  God created our mind and thoughts,

knows everything they do.  and he knows our inner being.

Psa 33:16  A king does not win because of his powerful army; We as his believer kings know

a soldier does not triumph because of his strength. that our strength lies in his word.

Psa 33:17  War horses are useless for victory; Jesus told Peter not to defend him with

their great strength cannot save.  a sword, but to rely on his word.

Psa 33:18  The LORD watches over those who obey him,  It is not aggression that will persist,

those who trust in his constant love.   but Gods everlasting love.          

Psa 33:19  He saves them from death;  If we foster his love and stayed in his love

he keeps them alive in times of famine.  towards Jesus Christ we will live forever.    

Psa 33:20  We put our hope in the LORD; If we depend upon our emotional strength;

 he is our protector and our help.  we will dishonor God because we are sinners.

Psa 33:21  We are glad because of him; We may trust Jesus wholeheartedly,

we trust in his holy name. because his name is the only saviors name for us.         

Psa 33:22  May your constant love be with us, LORD, We pray for your blessing

as we put our hope in you. upon us, so that we will endure till the end.
