149:1
Praise the LORD! Lord Jesus, we want to praise you
Sing a new song
to the LORD; with all our heart.
praise him in
the assembly of his faithful people! We want to sing Hymns
of praise in the church.
Psa
149:2
Be glad, Israel, Let us praise the Lord
because of your
Creator; rejoice, because of His grace and salvation.
people of Zion,
because of your king! He is coming on the clouds as the King of
the world.

149:3
Praise his name with dancing; Rejoice
you faithful
play drums and
harps in praise of him. with songs of praise on all instruments.

149:4
The LORD takes pleasure in his people; God is love and full of grace;
he honors the
humble with victory.
He takes pleasure in obedience.
Psa
149:5
Let God's people rejoice in their triumph Let
us thank God for His
and sing
joyfully all night long. goodness, and let us sing of joy!

149:6
Let them shout aloud as they praise God, Let
our music be acceptable
with their sharp
swords in their hands to the Lord.

149:7
to defeat the nations We know out of Scripture that you
and to punish
the peoples; are looking for the lost to be saved.
Psa 149:8 to bind
their kings in chains, We know out of Scripture that you
their leaders in
chains of iron; will reject those who reject you.

149:9
to punish the nations as God has commanded. But your intentions are good,
This is the
victory of God's people. you
prefer to save people rather than to reject them.
Praise the LORD!
