PSALM I48: FROM A NEW TESTAMENT’S PERSPECTIVE.

Psa 148:1  Praise the LORD!                         Lord Jesus, we want to praise you     

Praise the LORD from heaven,                      All the inhabitants of heaven

 you that live in the heights above.                 must praise your  wonderful name.

Psa 148:2  Praise him, all his angels,             All the Angels in their uncountable numbers

 all his heavenly armies.                                  must praise the Lord Jesus Christ.

Psa 148:3  Praise him, sun and moon;            The shining sun and moon;

praise him, shining stars.                                 the wondrous  stars above, praise the Lord.

Psa 148:4  Praise him, highest heavens,         The majestic heavens, praise the Lord Jesus

and the waters above the sky.                         as well as the waters above.

Psa 148:5  Let them all praise the name of the LORD!  Everything must praise the Lord Jesus

He commanded, and they were created;                          because He was presence at creation.

Psa 148:6  by his command they were fixed                   He commanded and the universe developed

in their places forever, and they cannot disobey.            according to His plan.

Psa 148:7  Praise the LORD from the earth,                   Everyone on earth, every sea creature

 sea monsters and all ocean depths;                                 in the deep sea, must praise the Lord Jesus;

Psa 148:8  lightning and hail, snow and clouds,              thunder storms, snow and the lovely clouds

strong winds that obey his command.                             and the winds will obey his law.              

Psa 148:9  Praise him, hills and mountains,                     The mountains and hills,

fruit trees and forests;                                                        wild and fruit trees;

Psa 148:10  all animals, tame and wild,                            every animal

reptiles and birds.                                                              Birds and reptiles will praise his Name.

Psa 148:11  Praise him, kings and all peoples,                 all the Kings and all the people,   

princes and all other rulers;                                               all the princes and all the rulers  

Psa 148:12  young women and young men,                     youngsters and elderly men

 old people and children too.                                            Women and young people too.

Psa 148:13  Let them all praise the name of the LORD!  All mentioned will praise the Lord Jesus.

His name is greater than all others; his glory is                He was bestowed with power and might

above earth and heaven.                                                    In heaven and on earth.

Psa 148:14  He made his nation strong,                           The Church will testify

so that all his people praise him                                         about Jesus Christ

--- the people of Israel, so dear to him.                               as the salvation for the nations.

 Praise the LORD!                                                               Lord Jesus, we want to praise you
