PSALM 24: FROM A NEW TESTAMENT’S PERSPECTIVE.

Psa 24:1  The world and all that is in it belong to the LORD; The Bible says in:

the earth and all who live on it are his.                 Rom 1:6  This also includes you

Psa 24:2  He built it on the deep waters                who are in Rome,

beneath the earth and laid its foundations in the ocean depths. whom God has

Psa 24:3  Who has the right to go up the LORD's hill? called to belong to Jesus Christ.

Who may enter his holy Temple?                               The Bible says in:

Psa 24:4  Those who are pure in act and in thought, 1Jn 3:3  Everyone who

who do not worship idols or make false promises. has this hope

Psa 24:5  The LORD will bless them and save them; in Christ keeps himself pure,

God will declare them innocent.                            just as Christ is pure.

Psa 24:6  Such are the people who come to God, The Bible says in:

 who come into the presence of the God of Jacob. Joh 6:35  "I am the bread of life,"

Psa 24:7  Fling wide the gates, open the ancient doors, Jesus told them.

and the great king will come in.    "Those who come to me will never be hungry;

Psa 24:8  Who is this great king? He is the LORD,  those who believe

 strong and mighty, the LORD, victorious in battle. in me will never be thirsty.

Psa 24:9  Fling wide the gates, open the ancient doors, The Bible says in: Act 16:27 

and the great king will come in. The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open,

Psa 24:10  Who is this great king? he thought that the prisoners had escaped;

The triumphant LORD ---he is the great king! so he pulled out his sword and was about to kill himself. Act 16:28  But Paul shouted at the top of his voice, "Don't harm yourself ! We are all here!" Act 16:29  The jailer called for a light, rushed in, and fell trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.Act 16:30  Then he led them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

Act 16:31  They answered, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved---you and your family."
